Privacy and network

What runs locally, and the only reasons Vulgr goes online.

Vulgr does not host its own model. It drives the agent CLIs already installed and signed in on your computer — Claude Code, Codex, AGY / Antigravity, Gemini CLI, Cursor, OpenCode — and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint you add.

What runs locally

Everything: terminals, sessions, chats, the team pipeline, Git worktrees, memory, skills, reports and usage records.

When Vulgr goes online

Vulgr itself reaches the network for only three things:

  1. Update checks — the background auto-updater.
  2. GitHub sign-in — for commits, pushes and Pull Requests.
  3. Agent CLIs — each agent talks to its own provider, exactly as it does when you run it in a plain terminal. Custom endpoints connect to the provider you configured.
